U.S. vs. Chinese main battle tank?

I've read a good bit about the Abrams, about the Chobham armor and other advanced technologies it employs. Both Iraq wars seem to have illustrated that our tanks roll all over the Soviet-era stuff Saddam was fielding (crew training and morale surely affected this too though), but I'm wondering how the Abrams stacks up against the chinese' main battle tank. I would prefer answers from military or ex-military personnel, since they're more in the know. Otherwise, please provide a source. Thanks.
