How can i simulate a deck of cards in my QBASIC program?

I'm making a simple card game simulation for a science experiment. I need to put a deck of cards in my simulation. Does anyone know of a way to do this. Also, I'm very aware that QBASIC is obsolete so please don't try to convince me to use a different language. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
