To learn: Scots or Irish Gaelic?

I am torn between the two of them. I don't live in a place that I can easily learn either language but I am determined to try. I love both countries, both languages and cannot make up my mind which Gaelic to learn first and focus my efforts on. Any suggestions or advice?
