Do you like my idea for a war novel?

It is set in Africa in 2014.A U.S Army Captain is sent on a mission to go through the jungle to inate a colonel who has gone AWOL and formed his own congregation like thing.He has to go down a river in a boat claiming that it is for a clified destination.He eventually gets to the compound and inates the colonel.
