Working w/raptors and other animals while TTC?

I am a veterinary technician (not with raptors though), and I don't think you have anything to worry about. You should discuss with your boss/other people that work with you, what, if any extra precautions you need to take during pregnancy. They would probably know best what the special cirstances of your job would be. For example, if I were to become pregnant at my job, I probably wouldn't want to be exposing x-rays, filling a jar with formalin, etc. Anything you would avoid during pregnancy should also be avoided while ttc, because of the risk of exposure before you even know that you are pregnant. Early pregnancy is one of the most crucial times in development for the embryo/fetus.
